    SPENCER FAMILY THEATER AT OAKWOOD FRIENDS SCHOOL

    Emmy award winning author and journalist Juan Williams will  focus on the new phase of race relations in Amercia. 


    Reflecting on the Civil rights movement through the lens of his books "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965 " and "Thurgood Marshall: American  Revolutionary, Juan will connect this crucial period in history to the politics of today. Q&A and Book signing to follow. 


    This event is  in collaboration with  the Three Arts Bookstore, one of the few independent bookstores left in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

  • SAVE THE DATES! JUNE 15 & 16, 2024! JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION

    The City of Poughkeepsie is planning its first ever Juneteenth Celebration, with events  taking place city-wide, culminating in a festival at Waryas Park on June 16.  The Fellowship is currently working on finding ways in which we might participate, including showing support by showing up for events.  Stay tuned for details, and feel  free to share ideas!
