The Spoken Word Café: The Spoken Word Cafe (recently featured in a The Voice Ledger) meets the 4th Saturday of every month at 7PM at the Fellowship. Admission is $5. We have a featured guest, delicious desserts, and open mic where we share our original work or the work of a favorite author. The Spoken Word is the place for people who love words, the place for people who love language and people who love stories! Open mic sign-up is at the door.

On May 24, Spoken Word will host Muriel Horowitz, a former elementary school teacher who is now a storyteller. Horowitz will be telling stories from the Jewish tradition. In June, the café will feature Karen Pillsworth, the storyteller laureate of Kingston. Pillsworth focuses on tales of bonding between women, and how it becomes an enriching and supporting part of their lives. Our Featured Guest for September is Nancy Willard, author and winner of many national awards.

UU Comedy Night and Auction will be Saturday, June 14! Come, laugh, get a great deal - you've got nothing to lose.
